In a recent interview with J.K. rowling, she said that the CAREER ADVISE chapter in OOTP would set a major plotline for the next to books. In this chapter Proffesor McGonagall said "Potter, I will assist you to become an Auror if it is the last thing I do! If I have to coach you nightly I will make sure you achieve the required results!" In the next two books Professor McGonagal will assist Harry to receive the grades required to become an Auror.
In 5th book Sirius was killed and she says that no magic can bring back the dead to life. But in book 3 Buckbeak dies and with the help of the time-turner Hermione and Harry to bring back the dead Hippogriff so I think Sirius can also possibly return to life. submitted by Nirmal

On Page 575 in OOTP Ron said "We've got about as much chance of winning the Quidditch Cup this year as Dad's got of becoming Minister of Magic." Well they did win the Quidditch Cup didn't they? So maybe Mr. Weasley will become Minister of Magic. submitted by Bewitched_Purple_Flame
On page 743 Dumbledore sys something about there being a room in the Department of mysteries (the one that melted Harry's knife?) that's kept locked at all times. He says it contains a power that Voldemort hates. Apparently Harry has this power in him. A lot of it. The power is, quote "the most mysterious of the many subjects that reside there." He mentions that it brought Harry to save Sirius. He says that it was Harry's heart that saved him? What does this mean? Maybe the power is love. That's why Voldemort hates it so much. submitted by Derek
Nick states on page 759, "I know nothing of the secrets of death Harry for I chose my feeble imitation of life instead. I believe learned wizards study the matter in the Department of Mysteries."??? I think that he's talking about the room with the veil in it. submitted by Derek
Remark on a tiny detail from the Order of the Phoenix about the thestrals. It might have been misunderstood but the book says that one can only see these creatures after having seen someone die. It describes how Harry is surprised by the fact that the thestrals are suddenly helping to transport the students to the castle, while he hadn't noticed any of it during the previous years he went to Hogwarts. Due to the tragic experience with Cedric Diggory in the fourth year, however, he's now able to see them. Or at least that's what I suppose is the whole idea.

But wasn't Harry's mother's death the first he'd ever seen? And after that he had seen Professor Quirrel die, hadn't he? Well, perhaps the Professor (being possesed by Voldemort and all) is not all that good an example, but Harry's presence at Lily Potter's death is undoubtedly mentioned in all of the books.
The Phoenix could be Fawkes who plays an increasingly important role in the books. Phoenixes can live for a long time and regenerate from their ashes and so it is possible that Fawkes was owned by Gryffindor himself.
Ron could become the new Keeper of the Gryffindor Quidditch team in 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' (for sure says Mihirninja 15/4) or possibly Neville who finally discovers his latent talent.
The new 'Defence against the Dark Arts' teacher will be a woman. Mrs Figg has to be the smart choice as it is likely that she is a witch who will help protect Harry. Perhaps Fleur Delacour as the second choice.
There are rumours that the dementors could join forces with 'The Order of the Phoenix to help fight the evil power of Voldemort and his followers.
Harry could be made captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team now Oliver Wood has left as the Weasley Twins are too irresponsible or will it be Angelina, Alicia or Katie?
Cho Chang will become a more vital character in Harry Potter Book 5
In Chamber of Secrets, JK goes through great pains to mention the resemblance between Harry and Tom Riddle. We know that Tom's father was a muggle. Could Lily be the daughter of the muggle father that left Tom's mother? Or, maybe he hated them because he was secretly in love with Lily but she never returned his affections?
Lilly Potter's maiden name will be revealed in Book 5 as 'Evans'
The revelations about James & Lily will supply the missing link as to why Voldemort kills them. Lily could even be related to Voldemort - his daughter?
Hagrid will recruit the help of the Giants in the fight against Voldemort in 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'
In the first book, Harry asks Dumbledore why Voldemort wanted to kill Harry and James, but not Lily. This could be because Harry and James are direct descendants of Godric Gryffindor. They used to live in 'Godric's' hollow, and because Voldemort is Salazar Slytherin's heir, he wanted to kill them both. The reason why some witches and wizards become ghosts could be that they are murdered. Nearly Headless Nick was nearly beheadded, The Bloody Baron has blood stains indicating a possible murder, Moaning Myrtle was murdered by the Basalisk, it all fits. She reveiled in a book a long time ago his mother madin name was evans. But there is a very high chance he is related to Dumbledore or the Weaslies. Think about it. Harry mother had red hair and so do all the weasley and in the second book when he went back 50 yrs they said dumbledore had aubern hair which is a shade of red.
